Prince Palace Hotel is located in the Bo Boe area of Bangkok which is one of the worst areas the city has to offer. With that said, there are numerous shopping and entertainment opportunities right on the hotel’s doorstep, and the expressway to the airport is close by. Both MBK and Khao San Road are a short (less than 10 minutes) trip, however the BTS and MRT are considerably farther. And any trip by taxi is likely to take some time as the traffic in the area of the hotel is bad even by Bangkok standards.

Accommodation comes in the form of 306 rooms and suites, all with satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar and bathroom amenities. A coffee shop, as well as a Thai and a Chinese restaurant, will satisfy your dining requirements. For your recreation the hotel offers a casual karaoke lounge where you can perform renditions of your favorite songs in a relaxed environment. The Palace Bar serves refined drinks till 11pm, while the Pool Bar is your poolside companion. The fitness center comprises a steam room, Jacuzzi, swimming pool and modern fitness equipment. The pool is considered quite nice and a good place to relax.

Overall this is a good place to stay if you don’t mind the neighborhood outside the hotel. Bear in mind too that the hotel is huge, 4 towers total and many reviews speak of getting lost in trying to find rooms or of being directed to the wrong room and wasting a lot of time traveling back and forth to reception. My guess is you could probably do better for your money in Bangkok.
